News: Ancient Methods Plans October Release for Debut Album

Ancient Methods has just unveiled his plans for his debut album, featuring a killer cast of techno peerage. The Waveform Transmitter’s Ste Knight has the details.

We’ve been holding our collective breath, here at Waveform HQ, patiently awaiting the moment when Ancient Methods decides it is time to put an album out. So, imagine our delight when we found out that our dreams were about to be realised, on October 1st this year. To then learn that the album has been supported, by collaborations with yet more of our favourite artists, acted as music to our proverbial ears. This looks big.

The Jericho Records is to enjoy an October 1st release, with a stunning 3×12″ vinyl pack adding to the occasion. Digital releases are due for the same day. The album features collaborations with some old friends, with whom we have seen Ancient Methods collaborate in the past, with Regis as Ugandan Methods, for example. The album sees Regis return for more co-producing, as the feel of their Array the Troops track offering up a certain tribal feel with Ancient Method‘s and Regis‘s industrial sensibilities. You’ll have to hold on for a full album review, but in the meantime you can check Array the Troops, below.
