The Feel My Bicep bossmen are planning a jaunt around the UK and Europe, and The Waveform Transmitter’s Daisy Heartbreaker has all the information.
While still touring North America, and only a few hours ago, via their FB page, BICEP – the Belfast-born, London-based duo of Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson – announced big news for all those fans who would love to experience their unique live show when they return home. Bicep’s message on Facebook reads as follows:
‘We are very excited to have announced our final UK & EU – live dates for the year with shows in Amsterdam, Glasgow, Offenbach, Dublin, Belfast, London and Berlin…’
The tour calendar includes 13 new dates starting August 17th, with a show in Amsterdam at Lowlands and closing in Berlin on November, 28th.
A date in Ibiza at the end of September fits in the calendar when Bicep will be offering a DJ set at the iconic Pacha club. The highlight of the live shows, will be a stop in London on November 23rd when the Bicep duo plays at the spectacular club, Printworks.
The Guardian newspaper praised the show held at the Roundhouse for their ‘melodies that ping-pong around before resolving with gigantic satisfaction.’ Ninja Tune’s press department share with The Waveform Transmitter an update related to the live show:
‘the concept will remain the same throughout the forthcoming tour, but will be scaled to fit each venue they play…’
Bicep’s live show embraces the idea of immersion and the collaboration with visual artist Zak Norman, ‘has helped bring the performance to life, channeling raw energy in the to-and-fro between individual strands of music and their visual counterparts, it’s a live show for crowds to get lost in.’
