Further Acts Announced For Waveform Transmitter ‘House for the Homeless’ Compilation

We’re very excited to announce that our House for The Homeless compilation, in aid of Crisis, now features two more tracks from some very talented artists. The Waveform Transmitter’s Ste Knight is here to tell you who.

You’ll know all about our House for The Homeless compilation by now (or at least, you best had do!), as we announced the release a couple of weeks ago to a fantastic (and very humbling) reception.

We’ve now got 13 top acts who will be contributing some house and techno music for the initiative, which we are running in aid of Crisis, the UK’s oldest homeless charity, to help fight the terrible issue of homelessness across the country.

We initially announced the compilation with 9 acts, and a further two were added last week. We’ll, we’re very excited to announce that we have two more very generous acts who will be contributing, taking the total up to a very lucky 13.

You will remember Matt Sawyer, who’s track Good Morning was released a couple of months back on Top Town RecordsMatt also kindly provided us with an amazing Waveform Mix, which remains one of the most played here at Waveform HQ. He sent over two tracks to choose from, and our editor Ste Knight was left with the incredibly difficult task of picking one. After a really difficult selection process the decision has been made, and we know you’re going to love what we have chosen.

Vanni & Fav are an electronic music duo consisting of Alex Vanni and Sarah Favouritizm, who first bumped heads in 2014 to begin producing together, having previously gone under their own solo guises. Their music is deep and layered with funky grooves, melodic hooks, and textures that really get into the head of the listener. They have kindly provided us with a ‘House for the Homeless Dub’ of one of their best tracks to date (at least, it is in our opinion). More will be revealed soon.

So, there we have it. 13 awesome artists all of whom have pulled major rabbits out their collective hats to bring this project to fruition. We can’t wait to unleash this on the world on July 15th, so set your reminders and have your wallets at hand to help this amazing cause. Peace!
