Metric have announced the roster for their lunch night in May, and it’s a fucking zinger. The Waveform Transmitter’s Ste Knight has the words.
Things have been bubbling away in the old Joshua Brooks building since the start of 2017. A new team – who were previously responsible for trance night, Majefa – have launched Metric at the revamped Princess Street venue, now known as Versions.
The night promises to direct its focus directly towards house and techno, and the Metric launch features this in spades, with an extended six-hour set from none other than Ralph Lawson, who is one of the global house scene’s leading acts.
20/20 Vision head man, Lawson, is no stranger to bringing the party – he’s held residencies at Space in Ibiza, and Back to Basics – so you can fully expect this special event at an intimate venue to go off with a megaton bang. The Void sound system that the venue houses is sure to be put to full effect.
The space at Princess St is ideal for such hi-jinx. The low ceilings make for some great acoustics, perfectly suited to this kind of underground party.
The launch is set to take place on Saturday, May 13th. Tickets are available now from Skiddle.
