This coming week is positively brimming with exciting events to head down to. Luckily enough we’ve put the best ones in this handy little article for you. Check it out, below.

We’ve got a big weekend ahead of us starting on January 27th. There are tonnes of nights to get along to, both here in Liverpool and also further afield.

Fortunately for literally all of you, The Waveform Transmitter have taken stock of the events coming up around the UK and brought you our pick of the best. Without further ado, let’s see what the weekend has in store for you, because we know that that is what we all live for.


Jay Lumen, Masq 2nd Birthday, Underground, Liverpool, January 27th

Masq have pulled the rabbit out of the hat for their second birthday, which takes place at Liverpool’s Underground club on January 27th. They’ve booked techno heavyweight Jay Lumen for the event, who will undoubtedly be giving the Funktion One sound system a good workout. CDC Music, No Sense, Jay Daly and Lewis Tyler provide a nifty backup in room one, while room two is hosted by TECH-NO and features a b2b set from Matt Woods and Chris Tudor, alongside sets from Frowned Upon and Liam Shann.


Off Me Nut Records takeover, M62 1st Birthday, Constellations, Liverpool, January 27th

If you like a full-on rinse-out with more prang for your pound, then you want to get yourself down to M62 Records 1st birthday shindig at Constellations on the 27th. They’ve got a beast of a line-up, as Off Me Nut records head over from Sheffield to twist your melon. Hype shwenged out by Phatworld, Superior Cornrows, K-Orse & Basshound, and M62 rezzies, Long-E, Tubz, Lucent, and Jay Erangey.


Mark Archer, Playground, The White Hotel, Salford, January 27th

Manchester club night Playground are bringing godfather of rave, Altern-8’s Mark Archer, down to The White Hotel in Salford on January 27th. Expect a broad range of musical styles as Archer drops acid, techno, rave and all manner of other genres into the mix. Jerome Hill, and Blasha & Allatt provide support.


DJ Mag Sessions, Egg, London, January 28th

DJ Mag is a name synonymous with quality electronic fodder, and they are kicking off their 2017 sessions in style with sets from Anja Schneider, Rodriguez Jr, Davide Squillace, and Haiku575. If you’re after some top quality house and techno, then head down to Egg on January 28th for exactly that.


5 Years of Mint Warehouse, Leeds, January 28th

MiNT Warehouse celebrates 5 years in style with headline sets from some of the scenes hottest artists; Jackmaster, Joris Voorn, and Elliot Adamson. Expect some deeply hypnotic grooves as the three take to the decks, and are backed up by a plethora of awesome artists on the roster.


Detroit Swindle, Melting Pot, The Admiral, Glasgow, January 28th

Glasgow night Melting Pot kick off their 2017 season in style, inviting house hustlers, Detroit Swindle, down to man the decks on January 28th at The Admiral. There’ll be all manner of sonic sweeteners on offer as Swindle cover everything from disco, through house and techno.
